Kaitlin Alzapiedi

Kaitlin learned to swim before she could walk, which opened her eyes to the world underwater. She swam competitively her whole childhood and was the captain of Ohio University’s water polo team. Kaitlin’s affinity for water inspired her to take a deep dive into ocean advocacy.

Combining her professional background with her personal love for the ocean, she advances Sanibel Sea School’s mission through her role as Communications & Marketing Coordinator.

Kaitlin’s experience and knowledge spans over public relations, social media management, graphic design, and event coordination. With a background in full-service advertising, she brings a unique perspective to the team as a well-rounded marketing professional.

Kaitlin is most excited about the opportunity to help tell the stories of Sanibel Sea School and Coastal Watch. She believes we can use stories to connect their communities, funders, beneficiaries, and employees with their causes and visions.
