Sanibel Sea School is pleased to welcome Dominique Stokes to the nonprofit organization’s Board of Trustees.

Stokes has been a resident of Southwest Florida since 2000. She grew up in the Clearwater area, then attended the University of Florida, where she studied business administration and marketing. She and her husband, Brent, own a growing marine construction business, Stokes Marine, where she serves as the Director of Human Resources. 

In her free time, Stokes enjoys exploring and enjoying our local waters with Brent and their two children, Addison and Hunter, who both attend Sanibel Sea School. She is also very involved with their school, volunteering regularly in classrooms and serving on the PTA board. 

“I am excited to join the Sanibel Sea School Board of Trustees because it encompasses both my love of the water and my love of children,” she said. Sanibel Sea School is a 501c3 nonprofit whose mission is to improve the ocean’s future, one person at a time. To learn more, visit sanibelseaschool.org.
