Kelsey Lowe

Kelsey was born and raised in Naples, FL. From boating and fishing in the Gulf to taking trips to the Bahamas with her family every summer, Kelsey had endless opportunities to fall in love with the ocean. Spending time in the Bahamas with her father, who grew up there and is very knowledgeable about marine life, is what started Kelsey’s passion for the ocean. Being able to connect with marine life hands-on from such a young age, it was hard for her not to fall in love with it. She went on to graduate from Stetson University with a Bachelor of Science in aquatic and marine biology. While at Stetson, she had many opportunities to study different marine habitats and was able to conduct her own research in a local spring. In the summer of 2024, Kelsey interned at a summer camp in Key West, FL where she learned she thoroughly enjoys being able to share her knowledge and love for the ocean with young, developing minds. She is excited to continue this mission and give kids hands-on opportunities to fall in love with the ocean like she did.
