Bahamas Relief
After hovering over the Bahamas for two days in early September 2019, Hurricane Dorian left areas around The Abaco Islands and Grand Bahama devastated and in urgent need of supplies and assistance.
Many of you have expressed that you want to help, and we do too. We have so much love for the beautiful Bahamas, their blue water, and the communities that host us there when we visit.
We are partnering with Mang, one of our favorite brands, to collect donations to support relief and recovery efforts. 100% of the donations collected will go directly to the Green Turtle Cay community, where the founders of Mang have personal connections and will be on the ground as volunteers. You can be sure that your contributions will make a difference.
Monetary donations are preferred, because the road to recovery will be long, and after the initial distribution of emergency items, these funds will allow us to assess the situation, purchase exactly what the community needs most (and can’t obtain locally), and deliver the supplies to them.
We made our first trip to drop off supplies on September 18th, and were able to talk to community leaders about what is most needed by residents. Click here for more information, stories, and photos from the trip.
Money can be donated via the button below, or by checks made out to Sanibel Sea School with “Green Turtle Cay Relief” written in the memo line. Donations are tax deductible and will be receipted by Sanibel Sea School (a 501c3 nonprofit), and earmarked for Green Turtle Cay Relief. Our mailing address is:

Thank you so much for your generosity and support.
Sincerely,
